python-dbus-dev software package provides main loop integration development files for python-dbus, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-dbus-dev
python-dbus-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-dbus-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-dbus-dev *
You will get with python-dbus-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
